1. Napoleon was thought to be short but he was 5 ft 6 inches which was average for the time but he surrounded himself with tall soldiers.
2. Napoleon ate his meals in about 20 minutes in total silence.
3. Napoleon made sure people opened doors when entering his room as little as possible and closed them as soon as in the room
4. During his time the French had the best artillery and artillery troops in the world. During the battle of Waterloo it rained all night before the battle so when the French shot their cannon balls the balls sank into the mud. Normally if the ground wasn't soggy the cannon balls would have bounced off the ground and caused a lot of damage to the surrounding troops like in previous battles but not at Waterloo.
5. Your brain is constantly eating itself. This process is called Phagocytosis, where cells envelop and consume smaller cells or molecules to remove them from the system. Don't worry! Phagocytosis isn't harmful, but actually helps preserve your grey matter.
6. The world's oldest dog lived to 29.5 years old. While the medium age a dog reaches tends to be about 10-15 years, one Australian cattle dog. "Bluey', survived to the ripe old age of 29.5.
7. The world's oldest cat lived to 38 years and three days old. Creme Puff was the oldest cat to ever live.
8. You can actually die laughing, and a number of people have, typically due to intense laughter causing a heart attack or suffocation. Comedy shows should come with a warning.
9. Your signature could reveal personality traits. A study in 2016 purports that among men, a larger signature correlates with higher social bravado and, among women, a bigger signature correlates with narcissistic traits.
10. Finland is the happiest country on Earth. According to the World Happiness Report, it has been for 6 years in a row. It's not really surprising, given that Finland is the home of Santa Claus, reindeer and one sauna for every 1.59 people.
11. Hippos can't swim. Hippos really do have big bones, so big and dense, in fact, that they're barely buoyant at all. They don't swim and instead perform a slow-motion gallop on the riverbed or on the sea floor. In fact, hippos can even sleep underwater, thanks to a built-in reflex that allows them to bob up, take a breath, and sink back down without waking.
12. Animals can be allergic to humans. Animals can be allergic to our dead skin cells - dander, These allergic reactions can be just like ours, too, including breathing difficulties and skin irritation.
13. Being bored is actually a 'high arousal state' physiologically. This is because when you're bored your heart rate increases.
14. It's almost impossible to get too much sugar from fresh fruit. While the sugar is mostly fructose and glucose ( fructose is what's converted into fat in your body ), you can't get too much sugar from fresh fruit. Fresh fruit contains a lot of fiber and water which slows down your digestion and makes you feel full.
15. You don't like the sound of your own voice because of the bones in your head. This may be because the bones in your head make our voice deeper.
