Last Thursday 10/10/2024 we were supposed to have a new dishwasher delivered at 10AM as the existing dishwasher was leaking. Just before 10AM they called and said they would be there at 10. The old dishwasher wasn't disconnected and it still had some water in it. My wife was bailing the water out of the dishwasher and I grabbed a wrench to disconnect it. At this point my wife channeled Bruce Lee from "Enter the Dragon" and kicked the dishwasher across the floor. Both myself and her niece were shocked but given the amount of force my wife exerted and the distance the dishwasher traveled we decided if she had been on "America's Got Talent" she would have definitely gotten the golden buzzer.

This is where things got strange - They brought in the new dishwasher and took the old dishwasher out to their truck but when we opened the new dishwasher it didn't have a power cord attached nor was the cord provided. When my wife ordered the dishwasher she wasn't informed that it didn't come with the power cord attached nor was she informed that a power cord needed to be ordered separately. The driver told us he couldn't disconnect the power cord on the old dishwasher for us to then attach to the new dishwasher. Very strange
Now we will watch a YouTube video to figure out how to attach the power cord. Hopefully this exercise won't include another Kung Fu demonstration.
